This stove is like a tin can. The metal is so thin the bottom drawer warped after first use. Sits all wonky. The clean oven feature gets hot but it doesn™€™t clean well. My last stove was less in price, was better quality and my guess will last longer. Don™€™t have a clue why you people decided to go so cheap on materials.

Nice range.. Couple of things I don't like..When setting the timer for stove top cooking it continues to beep until you turn it off but when setting timer for baking it will beep for a second or two and turn turn itself off! If I'm in another room I don't hear it ...should have to turn off manually. I also don't like that the time itself does not show when using the timer.

I have had the stove for 10 days and I am regretting buying it. I thought I wanted a flat top. I wish it as white as it shows dust. I had a Gibbson made by Amana for over 50 years and hated to part - it was still working!! The oven was the reason I decided to get a new one as hard to control for some things I baked. It took me 40 minutes to boil eggs this AM. I have kettles that are not to be on high. I am confused on setting the oven to preheat and takes forever. I melted butter and chocolate for bars yesterday and took 10 minutes.

Haven't had a chance to use it much since purchasing but with little bit I have works great. I have had gas stoves my entire life so this is taking awhile to get use to. Oven temp is right on the money. Would still like to have a manual to pull out when needed instead of having to go on line to get it.

One week before Christmas our older stove bake element "blew apart", taking the motherboard circuit board with it. As it was so close to the holidays having one delivered was out of the question so we went to Menards and brought one home and installed it ourselves. The older one had a lot more features compared to this one which we did not use. The simpler it is the better and that is how I would describe this range. It looks the same and does what we need it to do.

It's brand new If you bought the range, you got a discount on the microwave, which was exactly what we wanted. We've hardly used it but are looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner. Our old microwave was a black interior...so it was like putting your food in a hole.

Whirlpool 5.3 cuft freestanding range

The business bits of this mid-level range (burners and oven) are as expected and as good as advertised. The simplicity is just what we wanted. The only place it falls somewhat is the lower storage drawer; it's a little flimsy and not as large as the 35 year old model it replaced. (Kudos to the old Whirlpool; that's why we bought Whirlpool again!) The drawer handle would be better if the grip was downward facing rather upward facing...pulling the drawer out is a bit awkward. Otherwise, the burners and oven get hot very quickly, it cleans up nicely, and the stainless bits are fingerprint resistant. I would recommend this product to anyone, but since my recommendation also requires me to add a friend's name and email, I'm clicking the NO box. I'd rather not clutter up someone's email with this.
