Honestly for $3300, I thought it would at least be quiet. I have been raising and lowering the support feet trying to find the "sweet spot" where it doesn't make a vibration noise. I thought it could have been my copper water line for ice maker, but it isn't it's in the cabinet of the unit. I can walk up to it when its making noise and just set my hand on it, and it quits. Very annoying. Freezer space too small. we really should have done more research.

Shelves are flimsy and easy to break. And after 5 years it's making this horrible high-pitched sound that service guys don't know how to fix. A shame have to replace a fridge so soon. I would not buy another.

Love this GE Refrigerator for my husband and I. It's perfect size for what we need. The only "little" problem we have is the construction of the freezer top and bottom baskets. They are quirky when we open the freezer and the top and bottom baskets stick together and are wobbly. The store checked it out and said it was the way it was constructed. We'll adjust to it eventually. Thank you for a great product.

It™€™s a great fridge for its size - be aware this is a counter depth fridge and will be ™€œsmaller™€ than what you are used to. The only thing is that it is noisy. It sounds like a vacuum cleaner but on low mode. Just ignore it. The whole idea is that it works well.

We do not like this appliance. The refrigerator is very small. The freezer is so small, I have to be careful when I go shopping not to buy too many frozen items. I miss my side by side refrigerator. I wish I never bought this. Every time you open the freezer it sounds like the drawer is coming out. It is so loud. Every time I open the refrigerator part, I have to open two doors. I want my old refrigerator back.

I was excited when I bought the first one,but had major problems with the temperature and cooling probably. Having the wrannity helped alot because I had to replace it after a year and six months. Because of the features and the measurements, I couldn't find another brand to fit in the space I had. So I had to purchase this one again and had to pay $ 500.00 more than I paid a year and six months ago. I felt that the protection plan should have made an even exchange and covered it. I also had to purchase a new protection plan for the second refrigerator and I still had another year and a half on the first plan. None of this seemed to be fair because I had no control of what happened to the first one. Hopefully I will have better luck this time around. This refrigerator is very expensive 😫 and I was truly disappointed in the hold process ðŸ˜".

Good fridge with minor issues

Fridge works well. A little noisy for the first week or so. We downsized so it™€™s taken a while to adjust. The filter holder takes up too much space in a valuable section of the fridge. The only real complaint is that the labels on the water ice dispenser are black against a very dark background making them very hard if not impossible to read.

Very nice refrigerator. Counter depth saves a lot of space!! Only concern is parts feel cheap such as shelves and the freezer door is very wobbly and loose. For $3,t000 I expect a better quality feel but it is working well and is very quiet.

Lemon - causes water damage!

This fridge is a lemon. I purchased it new in the box February 2025. The fridge creates so much condensation on the top of the freezer door which then leaks down the side and onto the floor below. I called GE and a technician came out twice. After the second visit they determined the fridge needed to be replaced. A week after replacement the new fridge started doing the EXACT same thing. GE sent the same tech out who stated the fridge "is working as designed" and blamed my home being on the water as the cause (AC set to average room temp 66-68F). I called GE and asked for a different model or credit for a different appliance and was denied. They want another tech to come out and "fix" the fridge. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. The warranty is now through a company called Bodewell and every single step takes 2-4 weeks to navigate / schedule. It is September 10th 2025 and I still do not have a resolution from GE.

Overall it™€™s satisfactory. The temperature is great! I™€™ve/water dispenser is nice, but as many others noted, in low light the print on the door is very difficult to read. Can™€™t believe there™€™s no drip tray under the dispenser. Engineers and designers should go back to the drawing board to make the freezer and the door compartments more reasonably sized. Drawers/shelves are nice and sturdy. We are fortunate that the one we have is quiet. Freezer capacity is unbelievably small! As many others have stated, tall bottles are a challenge. The TINY little storage compartments on the ice/water dispenser side of the door are a joke! Don™€™t bother.

Our first GE appliance, time will tell how well it performs and holds up. We had a Samsung 4dr French with icemaker for about 8 years. It was a nightmare as the icemaker froze up many times even after being replaced under warranty 3 times! Then Samsung couldn't find anyone to work on it and offered 1/3 of the price to buy it back! No deal! We put up with defrosting it with a hair dryer it for several years then finally threw in the towel when the fan tower in the back of the fridge started to freeze up too. After a week the only thing we don't like about this GE fridge is the water and ice dispenser panel labels on the front of fridge are not readable unless you bend down to eye level to be able read them.

We love our new refrigerator. We installed it ourselves and had no issues. It looks great with the other GE appliances we purchased, has adjustable shelves, and seems to fit everything nicely. My favorite part is the water and ice dispenser in the door. I wish the freezer drawer opened a bit farther, but the space is nice and it's not a big issue. It is not smudge resistant so that is something to consider if you have small children but the sturdy handles prevent us from touching the stainless too often.

I own a townhouse with a very small kitchen, and the cabinet opening for the refrigerator is quite small. I wanted a counter-depth French door refrigerator that had both an ice and water dispenser in the door that would fit in the space I had without having to renovate. As far as I can tell, this is the only unit that met every one of those requirements. There are plenty of similar units, but they all have the ice maker in the freezer drawer with no dispenser. This unit is attractive, functional and quiet. The interior is obviously small, but it™€™s laid out efficiently to maximize use of the limited space. The crispers work very well, and the bottom refrigerator drawer is perfect for canned or bottled drinks. The ice maker design in particular is good. It can™€™t store a ton of ice, but it generally makes plenty for my partner and I. More importantly, I™€™ve had this unit for two years now and the ice make hasn™€™t missed a beat. My previous Samsung needed its ice maker defrosted at least once a month from the day it was new. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have backlighting for the front control panel.

The GE refrigerator cools fast and keeps food at the perfect temperature. The bins and shelves are adjustable so you can store many different sizes. I love the French doors and the freezer drawer is so convenient and easy to access.

Although this is the smallest fridge I've ever had it seems huge. I live alone so the size is perfect for me. I love the ice maker in the door giving me full use of the freezer. I love this fridge! This is not AI!

I am extremely disappointed in this product capacity and shelving there is no room for tall bottles even a container of milk yes you can adjust the shelves, but you end up with a shelf that is totally unusable. If I had been able to see this on display, I never would have purchased it. even a container of eggs doesn't fir lengthwise. No storage room truthfully, it's horrible Don't purchase!!!

Worst refrigerator ever purchased in my life

This has been the worst refrigerator I have ever bought in my life! I had never purchased a GE fridge before and this unit has been so loud from day 1 of the delivery. Had a technician come in the day after delivery, solved the vibration issue for a few days and then started again. I have been waiting a week for another tech appointment and got rescheduled today because tech™€™s truck broke down. But I have a refrigerator that sounds like a bad motor, very very loud, specially at 5 am when the house is silent. The vibration used to be first outside now the noise / vibration is coming from the inside. It™€™s a very annoying constant sound, probably 95% of the time! There r times when it™€™s silent, so there has to be something wrong with the motor, this sound cannot be right. Also I got the counter depth and it™€™s very small.
